45 Minute Bay Tour

You will board in Mermaid Quay at the heart of Cardiff Bay on Marianne and enjoy a relaxing 45 minute trip around the area where you will see the Senedd, Norwegian Church and many more famous sights. You can also board at the Barrage where we pick up further passengers 15 minutes later than the times advertised

Groups & Tour Operators

If your group or tour is interested in coming on board for a private excursion, you can save money by taking advantage of our special rates.

Payment is required in advance of your chosen date

There must be a minimum of 20 people in your group

Maximum of 100 in total (including group leaders and assistants) although groups can be split onto separate cruises if required.

School trips around Cardiff Bay

Our boats are available for private hire to schools wishing to take large groups of pupils on a tour of Cardiff Bay for a school trip or field trip. We provide an interesting guided commentary, sharing the interesting history of Cardiff Bay and the surrounding areas.

Flatholm Island Ferry

Boarding at Penarth/Barrage South boat landing, we set sail through the Cardiff Bay Barrage lock gates out into the Bristol Channel where we drop you off at Flat holm Island for a full 3 hours exploring before casting off once more to bring you back.

Jet Boat Trips

We have two Jet Boats available offering two types of trips. Our signature Bay Waves trip which is 25 minutes taking in the best of both worlds of a fast run across Cardiff Bay with a slower chance to take photos as we go along the River Ely, then come back again. Our second option is Coastal Shock which is for 1 hour sailing from Cardiff Bay, through the Barrage and out into the Bristol Channel.

The boat landing closest to Penarth is known as the Barrage South stop.  Board here for Flatholm Island and to sail over to Mermaid Quay (Cardiff Bay).
